Ambit Network provides training to practitioners in order to increase the use of evidence-based practices that help traumatized children.
We train in programs including:
- Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TFCBT): A treatment for symptoms of traumatic stress in children and youth.
- Cognitive Behavioral Intervention for Trauma in Schools (CBITS): A school-based intervention for grades 5-12 designed to reduce symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), depression, and behavioral problems, and to improve functioning, grades and attendance, peer and parent support, and coping skills.
- Bounce Back: an elementary school adaptation of CBITS.
Our trainings are conducted in partnership with the Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS). For information about upcoming training contact: ambitnetwork@asu.edu
