PARENTING IN A NEW COUNTRY?

Help us test and learn more about an online parenting program for families who have been forced to move to the United States.
We are inviting parents and caregivers who were forced to leave their home country in the last 10 years with children ages 6 – 12 years old to participate in the Parenting in the Moment project. Below you will find information about how you can find out if you are eligible to participate in helping test this parenting program and a video that describes the Parenting in the Moment online program.
You may be able to participate in this project if you:
- Have a child between the ages of 6-12 years old
- Had to leave your country for the US in the last 10 years
- Have access to high-speed internet on your cell phone or at home
- Speak and understand Spanish, Arabic, French, or English easily
As part of the project you will get:
- Family and parenting resources
- Up to $120 in e-gift cards for your participation
A chance to participate in a free online parenting program now, or later* (after the project is over)
*You will be put in one group or the other
