Pre-doctoral and Post-doctoral Training

There are many opportunities for pre-doctoral and postdoctoral students to become involved in research at the ASU REACH Institute. These opportunities include facilitating implementation of the many evidence-based programs developed and disseminated at the ASU REACH Institute, as well as opportunities to be involved in some of the more general research being conducted by REACH Scientists. The ASU REACH Institute has also received funding from NIDA for a T32 post-doctoral training program focusing on closing the research-practice gap in drug abuse and HIV prevention.  We are currently accepting applications for the Post-Doc positions

Researchers

The ASU REACH Institute offers training and consultation opportunities to researchers at ASU as well as to researchers at other universities and in the community. These opportunities focus on diverse topics including development and implementation of prevention and intervention programs and methodology specific to implementation and dissemination research. These opportunities also present researchers an opportunity to share their work with the scientific community. Community

The ASU REACH Institute offers workshops that train providers and community members to deliver our featured evidence-based programs: Family Check-Up, New Beginnings, Family Bereavement, Bridges to High School, and Compass for Courage. Trainees are provided with program materials and learn the required skills and knowledge to deliver these programs, and training workshops are both didactic and experiential.
